Adam Billings.
Project Lead & Creative Director.
Adam Billings is a photographer at AB Creative Studio. Having graduated with a First Class (Hons) degree in BA photography and now coming to the end of a MA Communication Design degree.
Adam’s main role within Look At Us Now! is being our Project Lead, he is a key component in bringing the creative direction, photography and editorial design elements together.
His work explores fashion and portraiture in a bold and playful manner to create slick yet graphic imagery. Whether it be within photography or design, the use of awkward and playful editorial inspirations is prominent throughout.
May Gauntlett
Lead Stylist & Fashion Designer.
I'm May Gauntlett, a vibrant and passionate designer who is dedicated to making the world of fashion more inclusive for everyone. As the founder of May Marigold CIC, an adaptive fashion social enterprise, my mission is to create colourful, adaptive clothing that celebrates individuality and empowers people with disabilities.
Living with various disabilities has deeply shaped my perspective, fueling my creativity and enhancing my understanding of what true accessibility looks like. Fashion should be a joyful form of self-expression, and I strive to infuse every piece I create with brightness and personality, reflecting the beauty of the diversity around us.
Through my work, I aim to challenge the conventional perceptions of disability, using my designs to make powerful statements about inclusivity and the celebration of differences. My commitment to sustainable and functional fashion drives me to conduct community workshops, upcycle clothing, and develop a fun, accessible clothing line that meets the diverse needs of individuals.
My journey is grounded in a deep commitment to positivity and empowerment, aiming to create a ripple effect that inspires and uplifts disabled communities across the UK. Together, we can transform the fashion landscape into one that is truly inclusive and colourful!
Amy Davenhill
Lead Prop & Set Design/Fabrication.
Amy is the Lead Designer for Look At Us Now; this role involves concept, set and prop design as well as fabrication of all props made for photoshoots.
Amy Davenhill is an Animator & Fabricator specialising in Stop Motion Animation. Since graduating with a First Class (Hons) Degree in Animation, Amy has been building on her portfolio, creating puppets and props for her stop motion projects.
Using a hands-on approach to designing, Amy loves to work with physical materials in her creations. All props made for this project were made using recycled materials - taking something that once was and transforming it into something else is something Amy is passionate about, in addition to the environmental impacts that the arts can have.
